Define Leadership
There are certain activities that define leadership. First off, let's define what being a leader is....What is a leader? A leader is one that is willing to go first. That's it. There are choices that they make daily that define their leadership.
Defining What A Leader Does To Create ResultsDevelop and Focus On Their Goals Every Day They know where they are going at all times. They are constantly moving toward their goal. In fact, will often ask themselves, "Is this moving me closer to my goal? Or farther away from my goal?"A great leader will have in mind the goals that they want to achieve. They will always be moving toward those goals. The goals will be written and detailed. They might not know exactly how they will achieve the goal, but they know they can achieve the goal. The have the belief in faith that it only a matter of time when the goal will be created, not "if," only "when." Utilize Daily Meditation and Visualization Seeing the end result of the already achievement of the goal...or the Be Do Have principle. Be Do Have says that we must be the person already creating the outcome that we want. Visualization and meditation bring one closer to their goal. Visualization by creating a mental movie of achieving the goal and meditation by allowing positive energy through your source. Positive Producing Activities. Anything that creates the desired outcome. If it's a coach, practice would be key to creating results. If you're in sales, placing ads on the internet or starting a new website are positive activities moving toward your desired results. If you're a teacher, a hands-on activity of learning a difficult math concept... This is the doing stage!
Personal Development All great leaders, lead with a positive attitude. Yes, there are negative leaders that lead with force and fear....but true leaders create a positive culture in the environment. They use materials of personal development to help create the setting for positive growth."Keep your fears to yourself, but share your inspiration with others." Mastermind With Other Leaders. This is very important for growth. If you are the leader of the group, you will want to "sharpen your saw" with meeting and talking with people that are creating bigger results then you are right now. That is how you will grow. Yes, you will learn from your group that you are the leader of, but your growth will come from being in a mastermind with others that are having bigger results then you. Expect Leadership From Others. Set the expectation that others will step into their leadership role. Create areas others can step up and demonstrate their leadership.
Gratitude. Every leader will be grateful for what they have. They will have a true appreciation for what others do around them. They will live in gratitude. These are great ways to define leadership. "The only safe ship in a storm is leadership."
