How To Use Visualization
Do you know how to use visualization? Visualization is the mental movie one plays to assist in achieving a goal. Some call it a focused daydream! You can picture your goal in your mind and it will bring it closer to you through attraction. 1. Be in a relaxed, quiet area. This is a pleasurable activity! Visualization is not a "have-to." If it is forced, it is not going to assist your goal. 2. Picture in movement what you want. If you want a leather coat, not only picture the coat, but picture yourself walking into the store trying it on, paying for it with cash, wearing out to eat, imagine the retail salesperson telling you "the color is perfect for you." etc...The moving picture is much more powerful than a still picture! 3. Thing BIG! This is your visualization, why limit yourself? You can always change your visualization to fit what you want. Detail it to you! 4. Repeat it often. It takes consistent effort with visualization. Repeat and repeat! This is an important tool in how to use visualization.
What is visualization?
Is it worth the time that it takes? Absolutely! Visualization is a powerful tool in creating. You continue to play the mental movie in your mind, just like in a daydream, except it is focused. Sometime people forget that visualization is a pleasurable activity. It should be something to look forward to....not forced! You can visualization anytime you want! A great thing about visualization is it requires no special equipment. Just you and your brain and a quiet space. Whether it is in the morning or night, in the shower or on a run...you can create want you want through your visualization. This is what I do when I run: I quiet my mind as I run down my country road. I listen to my breathing and just allow myself to relax. Then I think about what I really want. I start to imagine the details of my desire. I picture myself with possession of my goal. I am grateful for my goal. Questions I ask myself: How does it feel to achieve my goal? What would my family say? My friends? What would I do with my goal? I picture my goal in movement. Remember this is my mind movie. A moving picture is more powerful than a still picture. Here's an example of how to use visualization...Say my goal is to have a horse. I am picturing my loud black and white tobiano paint horse with a red saddle blanket. My horse's name is Moon Pie and he is a extremely gentle. I love to walk him throughout the hill country in the wooded areas, through the pastures. He doesn't flinch when he sees deer. Wow, he's really calm. He is so beautiful and my husband says, "Moon Pie thinks he is your friend, not a horse!" There you go, that was once my visualization....that did come true! Visualization is well worth the small amount of time that it takes and it is a powerful creator. Allow yourself to change your visualization. Think big! You can have your visualization to be whatever you want it to be. If you aren't excited by it, then your vision is not powerful enough. Have a visualization that thrills you! More
