Law Of Attraction For Kids

Is Law of Attraction for kids?

I get this question all the time.

There is no difference between LOA for kids and adults.

LOA is a universal law so it applies to us all, just as the law of gravity does!

Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus your attention and energy on, you will attract into your life whether you want it or not.

When we focus our attention on the things about our kids that bug us such as a messy room, dirty clothes on the floor, poor grades, disrespect.....guess what?

We just put more focus and attention on the things we don’t want.

So, we get more poor behaviors because that is where our attention is placed. They are frustrated and so are we!

Law of Attraction For Kids I was in my 20 year of working with kids before I started my home business and I used to witness it all the time in my preschool classroom.

If I had a preschooler throw blocks and I made the statement “Don’t throw blocks.”

My attention was then placed on the throwing of blocks. And guess what I got? More and more blocks being thrown.

Or “We are not going to eat right now.”

Everyone would come to the table to eat! Once I started using Law of Attraction for kids that my classroom became a peaceful, cooperative environment.

As Michael J. Losier says in his book Law of Attraction , we do not hear the words, “Don’t, Not and No.”

If I said to you: “Don’t think about Smokey the Bear.”....A picture of Smokey the Bear is now in your head!

Or:

Don’t eat that cake.....You then want to eat the cake.

I’m not mad at you......You hear that I’m mad.

How does Law of Attraction for kids work? The same.

When you say: Don’t run!.......They hear, Run!

Don’t fight!.....They hear, Fight!

Don’t slam the door!.....Boom! They just slammed it!

No diving!.....They hear, Dive! .......So, what’s a parent or teacher to do?

Focus your attention on what you want! Don’t run!.......becomes, Let’s walk. Don’t fight!.....becomes, Use kind words. Don’t slam the door!......becomes, Shut the door quietly. No diving!.......becomes, You can jump in there.

Think about the next time you hear yourself say: Don’t talk back to me!

Don’t yell.

Don’t fall.

Don’t break that.

Don’t turn that on.

No yelling.

No staying up late.

No talking on the phone after 9:00 p.m.

No smoking.

Speak of what you want!

Law of Attraction For Kids You are telling them exactly what you want, but they hear it another way.

Continue to focus on the behaviors that you want and you will get more of those! You get the picture!

We see in pictures and so do children.....

....Put the picture in your child head that you want them to see. Draw the attention there!

When you hear one of the dreaded statements come out of your mouth.....remember to ask:

What do I really want??

Do I want yelling, talking back and staying up late? No, I want a calm voice, respectful language and a bedtime at 9:30 p.m.!

The Law of Attraction for kids is easy and all it takes is a few changes in language. Keep your attention and focus on what you want. The kids will feel good and so will you!
