Letting Go Of Fear
Are you letting go of fear? Or are you holding on to it without even knowing it? It is amazing how many people move through life being guided by fears.
Fear of failure,
fear of public speaking, fear of crowds, fear of commitment. Fear is what holds you back from getting what you really want. F.E.A.R....you've heard it. False Evidence Appearing Real. Isn't that true? We worry and worry about things that never even come to be. We create these wild stories in our head about what is going to happen, what we will say or do when it does happen and what we'll do after the worst happens. We don't want it to happen....We just want to think and talk about what would happen if the worst did happen! As my mom would say, "Prepare for the worst, expect the best." How about expecting the best and letting the worst go? Even when bad things happen, doesn't it seem as if there was no way you could have prepared for that anyway? So, why give all this extra energy to the worst? Today is the day that you stop fear from ruling your life.
How Can I Start Letting Go Of Fear?
Be willing to let it go. Sometimes we relive over and over the fears we have. We put ourselves in situations where we are thinking and talking about our fears. It's okay to talk about fear briefly, not living in the fear. What happens is when we relive our fear through our thoughts and words, our feelings are constantly attracting like vibrations to us. The
Law of Attraction
says that we will attract whatever we focus our attention and energy upon whether it is wanted or unwanted. Laser beam focus on what you want. Yes! Focusing on what you want creates an energy of alignment with your
goal.
It's amazing how this works! When you have a powerful goal in mind, it will move you toward you goal. Letting go of fear is easier when you are driven by your passionate goal. "Obstacles are frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal." Henry Ford Don't seek agreement from others. This is your journey to take in life. There will always be naysayers, people ready to feed your fears. You become who you spend time with....just ask your kids! Choosing. You can choose your thoughts. You can choose how your life looks. Isn't that great? You get to choose! It is a choice. Choose to live in fear or choose to let it go. Choose to hang out with people that feed your fear and negativity or choose to be around positive, like-minded people. Stand up and face your fear. There is so much time wasted thinking about fears. Get it out of the way and face it! Afraid to call an old friend from a fallout years ago? Fear of speaking up in a meeting? Fearful of jumping off the high dive with your kids at the pool? As Nike says, Just Do It. You will never know unless you do.
