Looking For Freedom?
Are you looking for freedom in your life? "Freedom lies in being bold." Robert Frost Freedom is the ability to have free choice. It is the choices you make that create your life. Think back...... You can look at the free choices you have made. What car to drive, what university to attend, where to live, who to marry....all of these choices lead you on the path you travel each day. "Freedom is not something that anybody can be given; Freedom is something that people take and people are as free as they want to be." James Arthur Baldwin
How Can You Create Freedom?
First off, understand that there is a difference between choices and making a decision.Choices. This means you have a choice of more than 1 thing. This or that. Yes or no. Stay or go..... Decision. This is the line in the sand. A decision is firm. It is not bending to the whim of others opinion. A decision is taking a stand, there is no argument. 1. Decide what you want. When you are firm in your decisions, there is an alignment in your life with your goals. It is the uncertainty and doubt that lead you to make poor choices. If you don't know what you want....then you have some work to do, but your desires will emerge! 2. Be bold. There is courage required when you are looking for freedom. Make bold decisions.
3. Don't listen to the naysayers. There will always be critics and people love to share their opinion. Most opinions will be negative when you share your dream and your dream is not conventional. When I lived in Colorado, I would run out in the snow. Sometimes the snow would be coming down pretty hard and I'd be out there trekking through the snowfall. I remember once this man stopped his truck, rolled down his window and said, "You're not normal." I remember thinking, "Thank you." I never wanted to be just normal! 4. You
create your own reality.
You are constantly creating. Be mindful of your thoughts. By focusing on positive thoughts, words and actions it creates a positive energy aligning you with your goals.
5.
Get clear on your goals.
If you don't know where you are going, how do you plan to get there? You must know exactly what your goal is. Be clear. Base your decisions on moving toward your goals. 6. Understand the
Be Do Have principle.
Freedom starts with being. It is who you are being that creates an amazing life. Surround yourself with like-minded people. 7. Let it go. There is such freedom in letting go. There are
universal laws
and one of them is called the
Law of Detachment.
It says that to acquire what you want, you must let it go. Think of the freedom in knowing what you want will come to you as long as you don't try to hold on for dear life! If you are looking for freedom, this is where you will find it!
