Sowing and Reaping

Sowing and Reaping

What is sowing and reaping?

Most of us have had a garden at some point in our life. We know that it all starts with planting a seed. It grows and produces a vegetable, fruit or flower.

It’s amazing! Think about it......

You grab a handful of tiny seeds, put them in the dirt, add sunshine and water and time.......

........and the next thing you know.........

.......there they are, little green sprigs of a plant.

Wait a month or more and you start to see the produce. The enjoyment the harvest is magnificent!

To sow and reap is a universal law of the universe. It always works and it always works the same for everyone.

It is as predictable as night and day. It is always working, all the time.

Sowing and Reaping Every action has a predictable consequence. If I sow squash, then I’ll get squash.....not corn. If I plant kindness, I'll get kindness.

Whatever we give out, it all comes back.

The things we have today in our life we have created from past thoughts and actions sown.

Our thoughts and actions today are planting seeds for our future. We will reap our harvest from what we sow.

If we are judgmental, we reap judgment.

If we are selfish, we reap selfishness.

Violence reaps violence.

Generous people reap generosity.

Love reaps love.
