The job i wanted...

In February I was on a business trip with a co-worker. We both are students of the secret. We talked about work and life between meetings and over dinner. We talked about what we wanted and I decided that I would get serious about making a change. I said that I was going to leave the company we worked for (I had been there 10 years) and I described where I was moving to. My co-worker was hesitant because my desire was a little far fetched (the position I wanted was not common and the employer rarely hired outside the organization). But I stood my ground and insisted that the job existed. A month later I applied to the job posting, interviewed in April and started on June 1st. When I asked my new employer about the circumstances behind the job's creation, he said that he posted for what he really wanted to get out of the position and that his director and co-workers were hesitant, thinking that no such person existed who had all of the qualities and experience he was looking for, but there I was. I smile when I think about the match-up and know that anything can form out of my thoughts. As a side, my co-worker was very supportive and proud of my accomplishment. We are both working on manifesting changes in our lives!
